Cancellation & Refund Policy

This Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to all paid subscriptions and one-time purchases made on AstroCalc, accessible at https://astrocalc.in and via our mobile applications. AstroCalc is operated by Divyanshu Verma (sole proprietor), based in India.
1. Subscription Plans
AstroCalc offers three subscription tiers: Free, Plus, and Pro. Paid plans (Plus and Pro) are available on monthly and annual billing cycles.
- Monthly subscriptions auto-renew each month unless cancelled before the next billing date.
- Annual subscriptions renew at the end of the 12-month period unless cancelled.
- All prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR). Payments are processed through Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway.
2. Free Trial
If a free trial is offered for a paid plan:
- You will not be charged during the trial period.
- You may cancel at any time before the trial ends to avoid being charged.
- If you do not cancel before the trial expires, your subscription will automatically begin and the applicable fee will be charged.
3. How to Cancel
You may cancel your subscription at any time through:
- In-App: Go to Account Settings and select the cancellation option.
- Via Email: Send a cancellation request to dev.verma1010@gmail.com from the email address associated with your account.
Upon cancellation:
- Your paid features remain active until the end of the current billing period.
- No further charges will be made after cancellation takes effect.
- Your account will revert to the Free tier once the paid period expires.
- Your data (profiles, charts) will be retained and accessible under Free tier limits.
4. Refund Policy
Refunds are available under the following conditions:

| One-time purchases (e.g., ad-free) | Refundable within 7 days only | 5-7 business days |
No prorated refunds are issued for partial use of a billing cycle.
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email dev.verma1010@gmail.com within 7 days of the transaction. Please include:
- Your registered email address
- Date of the transaction
- Razorpay payment ID or order ID (if available)
- Reason for the refund request
We will acknowledge your request within 48 hours and process eligible refunds within 5-7 business days to the original payment method.
6. Payment Disputes
If you experience a payment discrepancy (incorrect charge, failed transaction with deduction, or unauthorized charge), contact us immediately at dev.verma1010@gmail.com. We will investigate and resolve the issue within 7 business days.
For disputes related to payment processing, you may also contact Razorpay directly through their support channels.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cancellation & Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 7 days before taking effect. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will be revised accordingly.
